For Cat Daddy Games, a subsidiary of Take 2 Interactive, I wrote two player manuals, a voice-over script, in-game text, and box package copy for two circus-themed video games for the Nintendo Wii and DS.

I’ve spent most of 2009 working on a special project for Nintendo: Style Savvy, a fashion-themed video game that will set the standard for its kind when it is released this fall. I wrote dialogue for the character Felicity, a fashion journalist from the South who thinks the best designers are those who “instigate life.” As a senior writer on the project, I devised the plan to name the streets in the game after boulevards in international fashion districts; composed dialogue for hundreds of boutique customers and runway models; and wrote headlines for in-game fashion, make-up, and hairstyle magazines. I also tackled perhaps the most challenging task on the job: naming all 10,000+ items of clothing, within severe space and copyright limitations.
